  • INTRODUCTION

    The Showcase the Veterans 5K benefits Team Red White and Blue (RWB). Team RWB’s mission is to enrich the lives of America’s veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity. Team RWB is transforming the way that America supports its veterans as they transition from service member to civilian. We are creating communities of veterans, their families, and American citizens that enjoy authentic interaction through physical and social activities.

  • ROUTE

    Starting and finishing at The North Event Boat Ramp of Tempe Town Lake, Showcase the Veterans 5km is an out and back course skirting the north shore of Tempe Town Lake.

  • COST

    $30 Prior to midnight October 13
    $35 Prior to 6:00 p.m. November 8
    $40 Race day registration

    FRIDAY NOVEMBER 8
    4:00 p.m. Packet picket up and late registration opens at:

    8:00 p.m. Packet pick up and late registration closes

    SATURDAY NOVEMBER 9
    9:00 a.m. Packet pick up North Event Boat Ramp
    9:50 a.m. All participants to the start line
    10:00 a.m. Showcase the Veterans 5K starts
    11:00 a.m. Awards

  • LOCATION & PARKING

    Showcase the Veterans 5K will be held at the Special Event Ramp, on the north side of Tempe Town Lake between Mill and Rural. Parking is available at Tempe Town Lake Marina and limited parking is available at Lake View Dr under the 202.

  • TIMING

    This race will be chip timed using disposable chip technology by RFID Timing. Timing chips are on the reverse side of your race number. Race numbers should be worn the correct way up, pinned to the front of your shirt and worn over your belly button.
